Character
.

The primary focus of the faculty, staff, students and parents is to follow Christ’s example given to us in the Bible. Daily prayer in the classroom focuses on making Christ’s love evident in what we do.

The concept of community service is regularly instilled in our students as part of school curriculum. Past projects include:

  • Students raise money for an African Mission Project
  • Made "Buckets of Love" that include food staples and an encouraging message to those in Haiti
  • Restoration of a former U.S. Coast Guard boat used in overseas medical mission service
  • Hurricane flood relief in Virginia, North Carolina and even Puerto Rico
  • Building a church in Belize, Central America
  • Visiting the elderly in nursing homes
  • Participating in various projects with the Norfolk Food Bank,  the Salvation Army and feeding the homeless at the Jewish Community Center
  • Performing music, drama and public speaking for local churches and events
  • Yearly visit to the VA Hospital to perform a tribute to our Veterans
